Riskfactor Cigarette

"...quitting smoking is easy, I've done it 100 times!", quote by Mark Twain

The Problem

On average, it takes 5 attempts to definitely quit nicotine addiction. Studies have shown that repeated, targeted stop-smoking counselling increases the success rate. We will not talk to you about the harmful effects of tobacco on your heart - you already know that. Instead, you will learn why you find yourself behind the wheel of your car in the middle of the night on your way to the nearest cigarette machine.

We inform you about medicinal and other cessation aids and develop behavioural strategies together with you that are individually suited for you.

The Solution

The road to quitting nicotine addiction is not a paved, comfortable highway, but a bumpy, rocky path. We show you the different paths you could take to reach your goal and warn you of stumbling blocks. You will also learn what tools you can pack in your rucksack for this purpose. You set the pace, the contents of your backpack and choose which direction you want to take. We are trained to accompany and support you on the way and the detours to a smoke-free life. The counselling sessions are paid for by your basic health insurance.
