From Atrial Fibrillation Ablation to Back on the Golf Course — in Under 48 Hours

Meet Joe, 78, from Edmonton, Canada. In May 2025, he was diagnosed with new-onset atrial fibrillation. The Mayo Clinic in Phoenix recommended a catheter ablation — and after his own research, Joe's son discovered Swiss Ablation in Zürich.

What followed was remarkable: a Sunday afternoon consultation, a state-of-the-art Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) procedure on Monday, one night in a Zürich hotel — and less than 24 hours after his procedure, Joe was ready to pick up his golf clubs again.

In this video, Joe shares his experience alongside Dr. med. Thomas Zerm, Chief Electrophysiologist at Swiss Ablation, who performed the procedure.
