Interview with a digital nomad patient who travelled from Cancun to Zurich to be treated at Swiss Ablation

Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is a rare heart disease in which there is an extra electrical connection in the heart. This causes the electrical signals to travel through the heart too quickly or in the wrong order, which can lead to irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias). Sufferers often have sudden palpitations (tachycardia) and may also experience dizziness or fainting. WPW can be treated with medication or a special treatment known as catheter ablation.
